Job description

Loloi Rugs is a leading textile brand that designs and crafts rugs, pillows, and throws for the thoughtfully layered home. Family-owned and led since 2004, Loloi is growing more quickly than ever. To date, we've expanded our diverse team to hundreds of employees, invested in multiple distribution facilities, introduced thousands of products, and earned the respect and business of retailers and designers worldwide. A testament to our products and our team, Loloi has earned the ARTS Award for "Best Rug Manufacturer" in 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2023, and 2025.

The Director of Studio owns digital asset management, the studio environment and the full lifecycle of all non-location content. This includes in-studio product photography and video as well as the derived and rendered or composited non-lifestyle assets. The role leads product photography post-production and the digital asset pipeline end to end, ensuring content of every type is processed, organized, and delivered accurately and efficiently across all channels. It combines operational leadership of the physical studio with ownership of digital asset management and the program accounts that power the content workflow. Success in this role means the studio runs autonomously and every asset -captured or rendered -moves cleanly from creation to delivery.

This role is based in our Dallas headquarters 5x a week.

Your direct reports in this role currently include our Digital Asset Manager, Studio Producer, Photo Studio Manager, and Photographers. This role reports to the VP of Marketing for Loloi and VP of Marketing for Joon Loloi and is a frequent collaborator with our Director of Creative Production.

Responsibilities

Lead studio operations and in-studio product photography, video and social content for our running line and national accounts.

Elevate and support the Studio Producer and Studio Manager to run day-to-day studio work autonomously.

Lead and develop the studio and product photography post-production team.

Own product photography post-production management -editing workflows, retouching standards, and final asset delivery across e-commerce and marketing channels.

Oversee digital product and material rendering ensuring accuracy to real products.

Oversee digital asset management (DAM): taxonomy, naming, version control, storage, and retrieval for all photo and video across thousands of assets).

Own sample management and the flow of product samples through the studio.

Manage studio scheduling and resource planning; coordinate with the Director of Creative Production on shared calendars, crew, and budget.

Partner with the Director of Creative Production to maintain visual cohesion between product/studio imagery and lifestyle content.

Establish and maintain quality-control processes for post-production output and asset accuracy.

Other production-related responsibilities as company requirements evolve and grow.

Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements

5+ years in studio production, content operations, and post-production management—ideally for a high-volume product or e-commerce brand.

Strong operational leader with experience running a studio and managing/elevating a team to operate autonomously.

Deep familiarity with digital asset management systems and content workflow/program tools (e.g., Fiber, Cylindo, or comparable).

Process-oriented, with a track record of building and improving repeatable production and post-production workflows.

Excellent organizational, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively; adaptive and solution-oriented
