Job Information Exemption Status: Exempt A Brief Overview The Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for providing direction and strategy to the sourcing department and managing the clinically integrated supply chain within Stormont Vail Health. This position is responsible for leading the Value Analysis committees, annual savings targets, supplier contracting and strategic product sourcing. Education Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics or a related degree. Required* Master's Degree Master's in Business Administration (MBA). PreferredExperience Qualifications* 5 years Purchasing, distribution, data management experience. Required* 2 years Supervision experience. Required* 2 years Experience in healthcare Supply Chain Management. Preferred* ERP experience (Workday). PreferredSkills and Abilities* Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). (Required proficiency)What you will do* Assists with conducting assessments to identify issues and opportunities, measure and quantify impact, propose solutions, and present the business case for change.* In conjunction with the System Director, develops the internal policies, procedures and strategy to provide for accountability of all sourcing.
