Position Status:Full timeShift:First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America)Hours per week:40Job InformationExemption Status: ExemptA Brief OverviewThe Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for providing direction and strategy to the sourcing department and managing the clinically integrated supply chain within Stormont Vail Health. This position is responsible for leading the Value Analysis committees, annual savings targets, supplier contracting and strategic product sourcing.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics or a related degree. RequiredMaster's Degree Master's in Business Administration (MBA). PreferredExperience Qualifications5 years Purchasing, distribution, data management experience. Required2 years Supervision experience. Required2 years Experience in healthcare Supply Chain Management. PreferredERP experience (Workday). PreferredSkills and AbilitiesMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). (Required proficiency)What you will doAssists with conducting assessments to identify issues and opportunities, measure and quantify impact, propose solutions, and present the business case for change.In conjunction with the System Director, develops the internal policies, procedures and strategy to provide for accountability of all sourcing.
