About This Role
The Director of Surgical Services at Hackensack Meridian Health is a visionary leader responsible for shaping the future of surgical care by leading a dedicated team across various perioperative departments. What You’ll Do
Develop and implement a strategic plan for Perioperative Services.
Analyze data and leverage technology to optimize processes and enhance patient outcomes.
Oversee daily operations of Surgical Services, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budgetary compliance.
Foster a positive work environment, empowering the team to achieve their full potential.
Build strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, and administrative staff.
Drive a culture of safety and quality, enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Participate in shared governance and patient safety initiatives.
Lead and inspire the team through periods of change, communicating organizational objectives.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Master's degree in nursing or in healthcare administration, business, or related field required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration
Minimum of 5 years of varied and progressive management & perioperative services experience
Licenses & Certifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
CNOR preferred or to be obtained within 6 months
