Job description
ICON is a construction technology company developing robotics, intelligent software systems, and advanced materials that are changing the way the world builds on Earth and beyond. That growth is scaling ICON's headcount and widening the range of work it does, from robotics and hardware engineering to software, skilled construction trades, corporate functions, and cleared government programs, each with distinct pay and benefits demands.
ICON is scaling its Total Rewards function and is hiring a Director, Total Rewards to drive the next chapter of compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy end to end and to build and lead the team that runs it. Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, this role directs the function through a growing team, sets its strategy and policy, and partners with senior leadership on the decisions that determine how ICON pays and cares for its people. On systems and data, you partner with the Workday Analyst, defining requirements and process without owning hands-on implementation.
You will work alongside leaders across the company to keep build total rewards packages that attract and retain amazing talent across every job family and every state in which ICON operates, and you will iterate and build the pay structures, benefits programs, analytics, and policies a rapidly scaling company needs. As ICON grows, you own the total rewards infrastructure and the team behind it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own ICON's compensation strategy end to end: design and maintain compensation structures, ranges, and bands; keep them aligned to ICON's core leveling framework; and run market benchmarking so pay stays competitive across every division.
Design and govern incentive and equity plan structures, ensuring rewards are consistent and aligned with business goals.
Advise Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on offers, leveling, and pay decisions, providing the analysis and building scalable process that keeps offers competitive, equitable, and within structure.
