ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and follows direction well.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances

Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards

Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed

Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment

Assist with stocking following food deliveries

Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 17 years of age

Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude

Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments

Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations

Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
