About the Role:
Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, CT is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our hospitality team! Responsibilities:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station and kitchen areas
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and properly
Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed
Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies to the line and service areas
Follow all health, safety, and food sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
No prior experience required — on-the-job training provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and wet kitchen environment
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety is a plus
