Job description
This job schedule is primarily in the afternoon, from 3 pm to 8:30pm weekdays, and 11 am to 4:30pm on weekends.
Main Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:
Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pans, and pots.
Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen equipment (pans, pots, dishes, bowls) and appliances (mixers, stoves, refridgeration).
Dishwasher Job Description:
We have a vacant spot for a well-organized and committed dishwasher. Our culinary environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as part of a team.
Your main duties will include
+ cleaning, washing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans
+ assisting with prep work including filling sauce bottles, portioning meats
+ cleaning cook stations, appliances, sweeping, mopping
+ assist with unloading delivery trucks
Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management and communication skills.
You will be working in a kitchen. This means that you will also have to abide by food safety procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:
Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
Cleaning kitchen appliances and equipment
Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
Taking out the trash
Cleaning garbage cans
Possible training for prep/line cook position
Dishwasher Job Requirements:
Must have prior work experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant
Must be familiar with and follow food safety procedures
Must have sufficient communication skills
Must be able to prioritize tasks and adjust as business needs change
