Per Diem Mobile ICU Transport CoordinatorLocation: Junction Building - HQDepartment: Mobile ICUShift: Variable (United States of America)Job Summary:AccountabilitiesAll duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwiseReceive, triage, and schedule all ground patient transports.Organizes facility schedules for Zoll/Logis entry and Dispatch processing. Coordinates daily schedule adjustments and communicates with Care Navigation, Access, Field Supervision and Facilities.Ensures daily efficient processing of all ProMedica Enterprise transport requests, in conjunction with Care Navigation, Access, Field Supervision, and Facilities.Processes all transportation requests following Priority responses within established metrics.Effectively and accurately inputs all transport data and related communications within the CAD system.Effectively dispatches and tracks Ambulances and Ambulette's to proper originating and receiving facilities utilizing established procedures and protocols.Escalates any scheduling conflicts or transport delays to the Systems Supervisor.Performs other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsEducation: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.Skills: Must be able to organize effectively, pay close mindfulness and perform functions with minimal supervision. Must have excellent people skills.Years of Experience:License:Certification: Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) within three (3) months of hire.Preferred QualificationsEducation:Skills:Years of Experience: 1-2 years in Medical Dispatch or Care Navigation.License:Certification: EMT Basic (EMT-B) in the state of Ohio.Additional ExperienceMust be able to understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries; requires effective people skills.Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer.Must be proficient in the use of a computer.Knowledge of IP radio, phone, dispatch, and recording systems.Knowledge of security systems.EMS CAD, Epic and Image Trend operational proceduresWorking ConditionsPersonal Protective Equipment:Physical Demands:Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations, and prolonged periods of standing.Must be able to frequently move, lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs., 20% of the time.Must be able to differentiate colors, work with monitors, VCR's, hazardous materials, and equipment.The above list of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by the incumbent; it should not be considered exhaustive.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, age, disability, military or veteran status, height, weight, familial or marital status, or genetics.Equal Opportunity Employer/Drug-Free Workplace
