Job description
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and dynamic Dispensary Store Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth store operations, driving sales, and leading the team. This position requires leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating a retail POS system to complete payments, as well as knowledge of the various effects and benefits of hemp/cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising Budtenders. Motivate and lead the team to meet store goals.
- Cash Handling: Ensure accurate cash management, including daily reconciliations, safe drops, and cash deposits.
-Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining stock levels, tracking and auditing inventory. Ensure product displays are well-stocked and organized.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer tickets, inquiries and resolving complaints. Act as a role model for the team.
- Problem Solving: Address operational challenges, such as staffing and stock issues. Provide solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
All employees must be able to commute to our Raleigh facilities on a daily basis. Please do not apply if you are not able to commute to Raleigh, as we are not offering relocation assistance for this position.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system to process payments.
Staying up to date of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
Emphasize the company’s ability to focus on our customers and give them the time, value and respect they deserve.
Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with established policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or education equivalent.
Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
Proficiency in Google Docs and Spreadsheets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
