Overview
nAs a Disruption Designer , you will be responsible for guiding government clients through our Design Intelligence™ framework; incorporating human-centered and design thinking methods to focus on the people impacted by transformation and change engaging them to embrace and adapt to new ways of working while identifying and mitigating areas of resistance.
nContributions
nnnParticipate in all aspects of discovery to understand client mission and goals;stakeholders, users and their ecosystems; current state journeys; user segments; program, project, and transformation objectives
n
nnConduct workshops and interviews toframe pain points and opportunities; define problem statements anddetermine change readiness and areas of resistance
n
nnSynthesize researchanddataand craft compelling stories and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations that will shape transformation and change enablement
n
nnDevelop and deploy communication plans, pilot plans, and training plans in partnership with key stakeholders and their customers
n
nnDevelop and deploy change management plans that articulate actionable recommendations for organizational and workflow improvement
n
nnDevelop, deploy, and measure key performance indicatorsfortransformation and adoption
n
nnCollaborate and communicate stakeholder and user needs on a cross functional team within an agile environment
n
nnUnderstand and embrace the specifications and constraints of a given technology, platform and/or operational environment and understand how change management should be integrated into technological considerations
n
nnEnsure all deliverables across a variety of projects are produced at the highest quality
n
n nQualifications
nnnAbility to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
n
nn4+ years of experience in change management and well-versed in change management best practices and models
n
nnDemonstrated experience in current state assessments, future state visioning and communication planning
n
nnDemonstrated experience conducting user and stakeholder interviews and synthesizing data and insights into personas, action, and training plans
n
nnA natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills
n
nnA collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills
n
nnExperience working in a project-based environment
n
nnDegree, equivalent experience, and/or certification in change management
n
n nBonus Points
nnnPrevious work experience in or with the federal government
n
nnPrevious work experience as a consultant
n
nnExperience in Human-Centered Design / Customer Experience Design
n
nnExperience working on multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams including Service Designers, UX and UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects
n
nnExperience working within an Agile deliveryframework including writing user stories and story pointing
n
n nAbout steampunk
nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $150,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
