Distribution Associate Temp To HireThe Distribution Coordinator is responsible for accurately demonstrating knowledge in shipping and logistics. In this role you will execute assignments given the Shipping Supervisor, and the Parts & Kits GEMBA Board. The ideal applicant has at minimum two years shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and sound technical knowledge of Oracle or similar shipping system.Responsibilities include:Maintain accurate inventory, lot integrity, certificate of conformance, and country of origin documentation and trackingEnsure distribution procedures are followed and report any discrepancies, product is received in a timely manner and transactions are accurately entered in OracleExecute sound standardized work practices for Parts & Kits, ensuring that all inventory is stored in its proper location in a safe manner, accurately counted and properly labeled to prevent injury/damage and enable efficienciesProcess all paperwork and transactions to ensure that inventory data is accurateMove material using sit down and stand-up forklifts and handcarts, including unloading of received materialRecommend and implement improvements in efficiency, cost savings, quality, and safetyMaintain clean, safe, environmentally friendly work environmentFoster teamwork and maintain a positive and professional attitude, while consistently treating each employee in a fair, respectful, and consistent mannerMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and trends, preparing regular reports for supervisor reviewParticipate in investigations into customer complaints related to product quality, implementing appropriate measures to prevent future occurrencesMay perform other duties as assigned, including over-time when required
