Job description
Warehouse/Distribution AssociateWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse/Distribution Associate to support day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including picking and packing orders, shipping, receiving, returns, inventory replenishment, and general warehouse support.Cross-training will be provided to ensure the individual is comfortable working across multiple areas of the warehouse. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and UPS/FedEx shipping systems is preferred but not required.Key ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipmentReceive incoming products and materialsProcess returns and returned merchandiseReplenish inventory and picking locationsPrepare and manifest shipments using UPS and FedEx shipping systemsLearn and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Load and unload trucks as neededPerform general warehouse and distribution dutiesWork closely with supervisors and team members to identify and resolve order or inventory issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentFollow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelinesAssist in other areas of the warehouse as neededQualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution, or pick-and-pack experience preferred, but not requiredBasic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systemsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamDependable, organized, and detail-orientedHigh school diploma or GED preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayAbility to perform repetitive warehouse tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, and moving productsThis position may occasionally require the operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts. Employees will only operate equipment after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
