Job description
Overview
The role of DES Service Associate is to serve as a member of a temporary work unit on a disaster relief operation to complete assigned responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and distribute supplies
Ensure accuracy of all assigned tasks
Meet the disaster-caused bulk supplies needs of individuals, families, and communities
Qualifications
Age 18+ and Driver’s License (required)
Ability to function in a high-stress environment
Good organizational skills
Ability to interact with community members in a compassionate manner
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs multiple times during a shift
Ability to bend and stoop multiple times during a shift
