Job description
Distribution Tech IIFULL-TIME DAYS The Distribution Tech II is responsible for maintaining supply stock at location. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.ResponsibilitiesReceives and processes various supply orders.Delivers supplies to the desired destination.Builds orders for stock replenishment.Replenishes crash carts and trays.Maintains and cleans stock locations.Loads and unloads materials within the storage facility.Participates in physical inventory and cycle counts.Handles supplies: removes all products from casings and rotates stock to assure all products are use prior to expiration dateAssists with maintaining physical inventory for supplies by updating PAR levels, managing stock outs and utilizing report toolsPerforms receiving, distribution and shipping functionsFollows department policies and procedure to determine whether to discard or clean and disinfect items returned for processingMonitors stock returns and usage rates and notifies leader when par levels are inadequateSurveys supplies to determine which supplies have reached re-order points and then orders suppliesPerforms data entryUtilizes resources efficiently and effectivelyMaintains safe environmentParticipates in Performance Improvement activitiesQualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalentPREFERRED EDUCATION: Some college courseworkMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of supply chain specific experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years in supply chainAbout UsWestover Hills Baptist Hospital Hospital is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
