Position Overview
The District Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining a portfolio of wines within their territory, developing relationships across the three-tier system, and representing the brands in their region. They train and motivate distributor personnel and trade accounts, supporting brand awareness and sales growth through education, market activities, and relationship building.

The District Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining a portfolio of wines within their territory, developing relationships across the three-tier system, and representing the brands in their region. They train and motivate distributor personnel and trade accounts, supporting brand awareness and sales growth through education, market activities, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Interaction: Deliver brand presentations, organize event activations, assist in programming quarterly brand activities, prepare business reviews, and work with distributors to meet sales goals and manage inventory.
Market Activity: Conduct sales calls, develop relationships with trade accounts, identify new opportunities, host consumer events, and collaborate with distributor sales teams to achieve sales priorities.
Business Development: Expand industry knowledge, identify growth opportunities, communicate effectively with management and trade partners, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Preferred 5 years of sales experience in the wine industry, with a passion for wines, especially Italian varieties.
Willingness to work flexible hours, travel within the territory, and attend events, including trips to Italy and corporate headquarters.
Must reside within the designated territory, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 35 lbs.
Strong relationship-building, market development, and communication skills are essential.
