Job description
Elwood Staffing is seeking an experienced District Manager to provide leadership and oversight for our Knoxville and Morristown, Tennessee, and Asheville, North Carolina markets.
The District Manager is responsible for driving both revenue growth and profitability across the assigned territory while ensuring strong branch operations, sales performance, recruiting execution, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall sales, operations, and profitability of the district
Coach, develop, and support Branch Managers, recruiting teams, Business Development Managers, and On-Site teams
Drive new business growth while strengthening existing client relationships
Ensure recruiting and service teams consistently meet customer expectations and fulfillment goals
Establish clear performance expectations and hold teams accountable for results
Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve branch and district results
Provide ongoing coaching, training, feedback, and corrective action when necessary
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
Maintain regular visibility with branch teams, clients, prospects, and sales professionals throughout the territory
Preferred Qualifications
Previous multi-location leadership experience
Demonstrated success leading sales, operations, and team performance
Strong business acumen with an understanding of revenue, profitability, and performance metrics
Proven ability to coach and develop leaders and high-performing teams
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
