ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL POSTING

Date of Posting: September 21, 2026

TITLE OF POSITION: District Paraprofessional Substitute

Now through the end of school year

Five (5) days per week

STARTING DATE: Immediate

CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

LOCATION: To be determined daily based on the need of the district

District Paraprofessional Sub will plan to start their day at their home building . If a paraprofessional sub position is needed, they will be assigned to that position to start the day or as the day progresses to a position that requires a paraprofessional sub.

If another building in the district is short paraprofessional subs, the district may choose to pull the district paraprofessional sub from their base building.

Pay Rate: $15.45 per hour

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required

Experience in the school setting preferred

Duties/Responsibilities: Escort and supervise individual students and/or groups of students both in and outside the building as needed.

Assist with the preparation of instructional materials for use in the assigned classroom.

Maintain professional confidentiality both in the school and out in the community.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
