Distro Big Build Skilled AssemblerLocation: Faribault, MNCompensation: $20.00 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30pm-2:00am | Monday - ThursdayJob Type: Contract/TemporaryAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Distro Big Build Assemblers for a leading manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you’ll perform precision welding on aluminum materials and contribute to producing high-quality components. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Distro Big Build Assembler:Assemble various cable products in a safe manner necessary to manufacture quality cable products within a high-volume cable manufacturing environmentRead, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the productMaintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart, and to operate the equipmentPerform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specificationsPerform other projects and duties as assignedWhat You Need to Bring to the Distro Big Build Assembler Role:High school diploma or GED1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in EnglishBasic math skills to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc.Willingness to participate in a pre-employment physical and drug testWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
