Job description
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with extensive Medical Director experience to serve as Division Medical Director for the West Florida Division, based in Tampa, Florida.
This senior-level opportunity is ideal for an accomplished physician leader seeking to expand their impact across multiple facilities while maintaining an active clinical practice. The role is approximately 60% clinical and 40% administrative, providing the opportunity to influence anesthesia strategy, clinical excellence, operational performance, and physician leadership across the division.

Qualified Candidates:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Extensive Anesthesia Medical Director experience, preferably within multi-site practices
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, preferably in hospital-based physician services and/or healthcare consulting
Minimum of 5 years of experience and working knowledge of healthcare systems management and financial oversight of clinical operations
Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and lead physician teams across multiple locations
Ability to travel locally up to 50% as needed
Licensed or eligible to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license
