With a wide variety of people, global locations, technologies and products, 3M is a place where you can collaborate with other curious, creative 3Mers.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The person hired for the position of Division PMO and Commercialization Leader will be responsible for leading and managing the Division’s PMO, which consists of several, full time Project Managers (PM’s) that lead complex, high-priority commercialization programs.

Lead and manage the Division Project Management Office (PMO), including a team of full-time Project Managers responsible for complex, high-priority commercialization programs.

Drive commercialization excellence across the division by championing step-change improvements to processes, tools, and ways of working that increase business agility, execution speed, and overall commercialization impact across business units and geographies.

Partner with the PSD NPI Process Leader to ensure alignment with corporate New Product Introduction (NPI) expectations, standards, and required use of 3M Grow for commercialization documentation.

Oversee division-wide portfolio governance, including the global prioritization process and Resource Prioritization Management (RPM), to ensure projects are prioritized effectively and resources are deployed to the highest-value NPI and CMP opportunities.

Lead capability building for the PMO and broader organization through training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen commercialization discipline and project execution.

Own the tracking, reporting, and performance management of key NPI dashboard metrics, using data and insights to identify risks, improve decision-making, and drive accountability.

Lead the annual NPI sales forecasting process and manage forecast updates throughout the year in partnership with business, commercial, and functional stakeholders.

Support the annual strategic planning process in partnership with the Lab Operating Committee (LOC), ensuring portfolio priorities and commercialization plans align with division strategy.

Serve as a key member of the Lab Operating Committee (LOC), contributing to strategic, operational, and portfolio decisions for the division.

Serve as a critical division representative during internal and external audits, including ISO, NIOSH, and other global regulatory agency reviews, ensuring commercialization and laboratory processes are audit-ready and well-documented.

Identify, prioritize, and lead process improvement opportunities across NPI, portfolio prioritization, resource management, and other laboratory and commercialization-related processes.

Provide portfolio-level risk assessment and escalation to leadership
