Diagnostic Laboratory Of OklahomaLocation: Miami, OKHours: Wednesday 2:30pm-11pm Thursday and Friday 9:30am-6pmEssential FunctionsReport to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shiftPerform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilitiesMaintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workdayWork collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environmentResponsibilitiesMust be able to work both independently and as a team member.Specimen collection will include all age groups and both Inpatients and Outpatients.Clerical tasks and computer data entry are a PSR responsibility.Must be customer service focused and professional.QualificationsRequired Knowledge:Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen requirements and basic computer use is helpful.Must comply with all DLO safety and compliance policies.Required Experience: Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required. Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred. Experience working/interacting with patients in a hospital setting is preferred.Special Requirements:Must be able to communicate effectively to clients, patients and staff in person and on the telephone.Must have excellent patient service skills.Must be able to adjust schedule to help cover other shifts as needed.About The TeamQuest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
