Job description
DLT- Machine OperationOral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for a machine operator.Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Loading and operating mills.Oversee the machines while they execute tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.Check equipment on a daily basis to ensure correct functionality.Communicate logistic and quality issues that arise in the process of creating appliances.Ensure that the quality of the manufacturing process aligns with department standards.Operation of small hand tools, measuring equipment, saws, grinders, and various manual equipment.Translate written and drawn mechanical instructions and SOP's.Perform regular machine maintenance.Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.Required experience:A high school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year experience as a machinist.Understanding of shop safety and standard equipment safety.Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.Able to stand, walk, crouch, and perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.Able to lift 20lbs or more.Pay/Salary is based on relevant experience.Oral Arts Dental Laboratory is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
