Dock OperatorTeam Services, LLC started in 2007 as a shore tankerman provider to the inland marine transportation system along the Gulf Coast with a mission and vision to support the great companies that our founder had serviced for over 30 years. Our steady growth can be contributed to customer trust; quality of our employees; focus on safe work; high standards to always do it the right way; and our mission to deliver excellence with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement, and the vision to be recognized as the premier provider for the services that we provide.Objective:The Dock Operator will be responsible for the oversight of the safe transfer of materials between vessels and the dock, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility procedures. The Dock Operator will serve as a point of contact between the vessel's crew and the facility, communicating transfer requirements and ensuring proper connections.Benefits:100% company provided employee medical insurance100% company provided Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany provided Life InsuranceMatching 401(k)Paid Time OffEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramKey Responsibilities:Maintains a record of all loading activities and ensures that product meets quality standards.Completes daily loader pre/post inspection forms in accordance with policies and procedures.Assists Tankermen with the safe transfer of liquid materials between vessels and the dock.Communicates any unsafe conditions that create an unacceptable risk.Operate crane and lifts to deliver cargo to barge and vessel Tankerman.Maintain a professional manner while working at the facility.Ability to work an on-call rotation schedule.Perform other duties at the customer facility as required.Required Job Skills:Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, self-motivated and multi-task oriented.Ability to plan, coordinate, and the ability to operate complex operations, including, but not limited to, operating equipment in barges, working around & operating heavy equipment, and strong communication and people skills.The ability to understand and follow safety procedures, and execute site-specific job procedures and, subject to completion of the required training necessary for equipment, performing relief operator duties when requested.The ability to understand the obligation that you must stop operations if an unsafe act is being performed.Must be available to work extended shifts and long hours.Weekend availability is required, including Saturdays and Sundays.Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to remain focused, dependable, and productive during extended shifts.Qualifications:Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.TWIC card.Appropriate motor vehicle record with no more than three minor moving violations; no drug-or alcohol related offenses; and no serious/major moving violations.
