Marine Dock Operator (On-call)PSC Group is now hiring an On Call Dock Operator to support safe and efficient transfer operations at the waterfront. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, responsibility, and being outdoors. As the lead at the dock, you'll assist with moving oil products and chemicals to and from barges or ships. Join PSC for a full-time career with stability, training, and advancement potential!Job Duties & Responsibilities:Meets with the person-in-charge of the vessel and communicates with facility personnelMaintains detailed dock logs to ensure all events are recorded in chronological orderOperates crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and manual / motor operated valvesUnderstands the facility piping layout to transfer the proper productGauges barge and retrieves sample of product from vesselCompletes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the jobJob Qualifications:Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is availableMay require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work locationAble to work a on-call schedule, with 24-hour phone access18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.Pass a drug screen, physical, and background checkWear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical examsSpeak, write, read fluent EnglishRegular on-site attendance and punctuality is requiredPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plusWork Schedule: 6 days on (24 hour variable on call) and 3 days offWhy join the PSC team?Since 1952, PSC Group has had a strong reputation for quality service, safety, environmental protection, and taking care of our employees.
