Dock SupervisorDock Supervisor, Pay is $68,000 - $85,000 per year.3rd Shift, Full-Time, Monday – Friday 1:00 AM to 10:00 AMEarn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resortsCompany CultureR+L Carriers - Women in TruckingR+L Carriers has an immediate need for Dock Supervisor at our Colonial Heights, VA Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations.Requirements / Qualifications:Driver and Freight Handler ManagementCoordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler schedulingEnsure Safety ComplianceEnsure quality freight handling procedures are followedTimely dispatching of LTL LoadsOther duties as assigned by the Service Center ManagerCandidates must have proven basic leadership experience.Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areasPrior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.Benefits: R+L Carriers offers an excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching contributions, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and vacation lodging at our exclusive employee resorts in Daytona Beach, FL, Big Bear Lake, CA, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC.About Us : R+L Carriers is a family owned, privately held transportation company founded in 1965.
