Position Summary Willow Grace Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional medical care, enjoys collaborating with a skilled veterinary team, and is committed to delivering outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures based on experience.
Administer vaccinations and preventative care.
Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and diagnostic imaging.
Educate clients on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Active Delaware veterinary license (or ability to obtain one before employment).
DEA license (or ability to obtain, if applicable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
