We are proud to offer a progressive, vibrant organization where you can advance your career, master your skills, and grow alongside us.Job Summary:The Document Tech-Shipping Clerk is responsible to accurately bill out orders, ensure product is properly traced, and shipped out to the correct customer. The Document Tech-Shipping Clerk also ensures drivers are checked in and released with appropriate paperwork and assists in shipping product.Responsibilities:Collect, record, verify and print receiving documentation and data; cross check to bill of lading to ensure accurate reporting of inventory and product levels; create reportsInvestigate variances, resolve discrepancies and complete revisions; report to personnel with authorityAct as a point of contact for Truck Drivers; provide drivers with accurate paperwork before load is released, track and report driver concerns about trailer, equipment or product shortageProvide support to supervisor as is relates to driver schedule, lot layout; notify drivers when trailers need to be pulled or placed at dockPartner with Supervisor and Quality Department to assist in receiving productSchedule receiving and inbound appointments as requiredEnsure compliance for GMPS, SOP's, policies, and proceduresOther core expectations as defined by the companyRequirements:High school diploma required; Post-secondary education in a business discipline or a post graduate certificate preferred2-3 years experience in record management in the produce industry preferredKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, and Food SafetyExperience with ERP software FAMOUS® preferredIntermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite software experience is requiredNumeric literacy, math and problem-solving skills requiredProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimum supervision; provide leadership when neededWorking Conditions:Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility requiredThis job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation.Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
