Door InstallerFlex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Door Installer in USA Fontana, Ca. Report to the Production Manager, Door Installer, is responsible for the installation of entry doors and frames to ensure proper weatherproofing of fabricated metal enclosure buildings according to specifications.What a typical day looks like:Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies of frames and door for enclosure buildingsAssemble and install windows with wiremesh glassUses various power tools and hand tools (ex. Drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasksConduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standardsIdentify any product defects; record and report them accordinglyProvide feedback to management and engineering of any suggestions for improving door installation processMonitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts in assigned work stationMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform all other duties as assignedThe experience we're looking to add to our team:High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience making deliveries in a box truck with air brakes.Previous experience in a warehouse of manufacturing environment preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accuratelyKnowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety managementAbilities to understand and perform weatherproofing sealing and installationReading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagramsBasic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurementsBasic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, etc.)Abilities to drill and tap into 1/4"-1/2" steel frameDemonstrated proficiency with the ability to safely operate powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.)What the physical requirements are:Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time.Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementApplication Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
