nWe are currently looking for a DOT Compliance Specialist for our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.
nPOSITION DESCRIPTION:
nThe DOT Compliance Specialist will be responsible for serving as a Compliance liaison to assist Project Execution with pipeline and pipeline facility projects. This role will be expected to manage the following responsibilities:
nnnnMaintaining Project Execution’s manuals/documents and processing MOCs.
n n
nnDesign Standards
n
nnConstruction Specifications
n
nnPurchase Specifications
n
nnAssisting Project Execution staff with guidance on required forms and documentation associated with projects.
n
nnReviewing proposed projects for compliance impacts.
n
nnCoordination with other Compliance Assurance staff for applicable notifications to regulatory agencies.
n
nnOMS management
n
nnAdding necessary inspections into OMS for facility commissioning activities.
n
nnAssisting in management of assets and work orders related to Project Execution work activities.
n
nnWorkHub management
n
nnReassigning Project Execution WorkHub forms for personnel changes.
n
nnTesting new forms for WorkHub integration.
n
nnAudit preparation
n
nnConduct periodic documentation reviews during construction to assist Project Execution in being “audit ready”.
n
nnRepresenting Project Execution in audits and inspections with regulatory agencies.
n
nnField inspections during construction
n
nnnnnServe as Boardwalk’s representative.
n n
nnFacilitate inspection and serve as a primary spokesperson.
n
nnnnHeadquarters inspections
n n
nnnnnFacilitate responses to protocol questions during inspection preparation.
n n
nnAssist in acquiring necessary data, records, and documentation; identify correct procedures to meet regulation requirements; determine how to best respond to requests from the auditor.
n
nnRespond to general design and construction questions and coordinate with SMEs as needed.
n
n nThis role may be required to maintain portions of Boardwalk’s Portal to ensure that procedures and forms are up to date and documentation is easily accessible.
nThis role may be required to review PHMSA Interpretations, Advisory Bulletins, and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Advisories for applicability to Boardwalk and assist in changes to procedures or policies if necessary.
nThis role must have extensive working knowledge of the requirements in 49 CFR 192 and 195 as well as Incorporated by Refence (IBR) documents.
nRequires 15-30% travel.

n nPREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
nnnProfessional credentials or certifications are appreciated but not required.

nnPipeline construction management experience.
n
n nREQUIRED EDUCATION:
nnAssociates degree or 3-5 years of relevant pipeline or construction experience.
n nPREFERRED EDUCATION:
nnBachelor’s Degree
