Job description

Doctor Of Physical Therapy

Imagine stepping into a world where your expertise empowers individuals to reclaim their abilities. What if your daily work allowed someone to take their first steps after an operation or regain their voice after a health challenge? As a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you'll play a crucial role in this restorative journey, helping to restore not just physical health but also dignity and hope during some of life's most challenging moments. And what if this impactful work was situated in an exciting new locale, infused with a vibrant mix of culture, history, and neighborhood charm? We invite you to explore the thrilling opportunity to join our dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals in the bustling city of Cleveland, Ohio. A city where creativity and healthcare intertwine, you'll find a supportive environment that enables professional growth alongside a rich cultural fabric that inspires.

If you have the compassionate heart and skilled hands to create a profound impact in people's lives, this could be your perfect match. In this rewarding role, you will:

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across various settings, tailoring treatment plans to suit individual needs.

Provide engaging and effective physical therapy interventions, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional improvement.

Collaborate closely with a diverse team including nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process, establish discharge planning, and recommend home exercise routines suited to their recovery journey.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with relevant guidelines and protocols.

Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds, ensuring that every treatment plan is optimally coordinated for patient success.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

CPR certification is preferred, alongside any specialized certification in areas such as neurology or geriatrics, which would be beneficial but not required.

Additionally, we value:

Experience in the field to enhance patient treatments.

Strong skills in addressing diverse medical and mobility challenges.

Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit.

Proficiency in utilizing digital documentation systems for patient care.

We are committed to providing:

An attractive compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.

Extensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision coverage.

Opportunities for continued education and reimbursement for licensure.

Paid time off and flexible scheduling that respects work-life balance.

A nurturing team culture with avenues for professional advancement.

Imagine each day as an opportunity to make a difference. As a part of your new role, you will be the guiding hand in the earliest stages of patients' recovery, whether it's helping someone find their balance after surgery or encouraging a person to take those empowering steps post-stroke rehabilitation. This role is as much about emotional connection as it is about clinical know-how. With every patient you encounter, you'll assess their needs, implement meticulously tailored treatment plans, and adjust your approach as they progress on their journey to recovery. You'll be a cornerstone of a collaborative treatment team, pivotal in planning transitions home, ensuring that every patient feels confident and secure. Your presence and expertise can have immediate, life-changing effects on those around you. It's a role that requires not just technical skill but also compassion and understanding.

We're searching for more than just a candidate. We want a passionate healer who recognizes that movement is vital, that kindness fuels healing, and that progress is a victory, no matter its form — from taking the first step to regaining full mobility. If you're a Physical Therapist who possesses clinical acumen, emotional depth, and thrives in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment, we invite you to connect with us. Whether you are just starting your career or you come equipped with years of experience, if you value evidence-based practice, teamwork, and human connection, we are eager to meet you. Join us in helping individuals move again — and discover how we can help you grow your career while immersed in a city that inspires you every day. This isn't merely a job; it's a heartfelt mission. As a Physical Therapist in Cleveland, Ohio, you'll join a team of devoted clinicians and become part of a thriving community that motivates both personal and professional fulfillment. Let's build a future together where your skills change lives, while you savor the joy of meaningful work in a city that will energize you. Your journey starts here.
