Physical Therapist

Empower Recovery Where It Matters Most: Embark on a Journey with Our Inpatient Physical Therapy Team in the Heart of Southern Arizona

Have you ever imagined the profound difference you can make in someone's life? Picture this: you are that guiding hand helping a patient take the first step after surgery, reestablishing their independence following a stroke, or reclaiming their voice in the wake of illness. As a Physical Therapist, you are not just a healer; you are a beacon of dignity, momentum, and hope during one of life's most challenging chapters. And in this vibrant part of Arizona, you'll redefine what it truly means to live, work, and rejuvenate.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Physical Therapist to join our team in Tucson, Arizona — an area rich in culture, history, and warmth. Here, the pursuit of clinical excellence is complemented by a supportive community that inspires both personal and professional growth. If you're prepared to make a significant impact within the community, now is your chance to shine.

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting tailored treatment plans equitably suited to their needs.

Implement physical therapy interventions with an emphasis on mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.

Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and various rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimum outcomes.

Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercises.

Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progression in alignment with standards and regulatory demands.

Engage actively in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate cohesive care for patients.

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a corresponding degree from an accredited institution.

State licensure as a Physical Therapist required.

CPR certification is preferred.

Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a bonus but not mandatory.

Previous experience is highly favored.

Ability to effectively treat patients facing intricate medical and mobility challenges.

Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.

Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

Competitive salary and benefits package.

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

Continuing education and licensure reimbursement opportunities.

Advocacy for work-life balance through paid time off and flexible scheduling.

A culture that prioritizes teamwork, with an emphasis on clinical advancement.

Every day presents unique challenges and opportunities for meaningful interactions. You will serve as a reliable mentor to patients as they embark on their recovery journey, whether you're aiding someone in regaining their balance following surgery or guiding them through the challenging stages of post-stroke rehabilitation. This role demands a hands-on, heart-centered approach where clinical acumen meets compassion.

You will evaluate patients, formulate targeted treatment regimens, and modify care strategies as patients advance in their rehabilitation. Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals, you will be a key player in developing discharge plans that ensure a smooth transition back home for your patients.

While your pivotal work may unfold within the walls of healthcare facilities, your personal life here expands into the breathtaking landscapes of Arizona. Tucson is celebrated for its stunning desert vistas and is framed by the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains, creating an awe-inspiring backdrop for your everyday life.

In this progressively vibrant community, residents enjoy outdoor adventures, from hiking in the Saguaro National Park to stargazing under the crisp desert sky. You'll embrace a rich cultural tapestry influenced by both Native American and Mexican heritage, informed by an inclination towards innovation and creativity.

From cozy cafes to bustling farmer's markets, Tucson caters to all tastes and interests. On practical grounds, Tucson boasts an inviting cost of living and no state income tax, further enhancing the appeal of this remarkable city.

Whether you find excitement in arts and cultural events or prefer the tranquility of serene desert trails, you'll establish a balanced lifestyle that fuels both your career and your soul. In Tucson, healthcare professionals like you discover a home where passion merges with purpose and opportunities for continuous growth abound.

You're more than just your credentials. You possess an understanding that movement is a conduit for healing, that kindness can be transformative, and that progress is measured by milestones, whether it's standing tall or walking freely once again. We seek a Physical Therapist who embodies clinical excellence, empathy, and the ability to flourish within a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.

Whether you are early in your career or have a wealth of experience, if you value evidence-based treatment, teamwork, and a genuine connection with patients, we would be thrilled to connect with you.

Join us as we support your journey towards career growth, skill enhancement, and rediscovering the joy of impactful work. Step into a role that not only transcends job titles but also nourishes the heart and mind — become part of our team and the community that will motivate you to excel.
