Job description

DPT / Doctor of Physical Therapy

Imagine a daily routine where your actions empower someone to take their initial steps after an operation, reclaim their independence following a stroke, or rediscover the gift of speech after an illness. As a DPT / Doctor of Physical Therapy, you won't merely facilitate healing; you will restore dignity, momentum, and hope during some of life's most vulnerable moments. And the backdrop? A dynamic and vibrant place that reimagines what it means to live, work, and rejuvenate. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate DPT / Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our team in the dazzling heart of Miami, Florida. In this stunning coastal city, professional satisfaction intertwines seamlessly with a lifestyle brimming with vibrancy and culture. If you're eager to leave a lasting impact on lives, then this is your opportunity to shine. In your role, expect to embark on enriching patient evaluations in diverse settings — be it inpatient or outpatient — and craft personalized treatment plans that resonate with individual needs. You will administer physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists, all striving for optimal patient outcomes. Your guidance will extend beyond the clinical; educating patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens will be an integral aspect of your contributions. Meticulously documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress will ensure alignment with facility and regulatory standards as you participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings. In terms of education, you'll need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized program. Additionally, holding a state license as a DPT is essential, while CPR certification is preferred. Specialized credentials in areas such as neurology or geriatrics would be advantageous, yet not mandatory. Your skills should reflect a solid background, empowering you to treat patients grappling with complex medical and mobility challenges. A knack for communication and teamwork is vital, as is proficiency in using digital charting and clinical documentation systems. Beyond the role, we offer a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance. Moreover, we believe in the value of growth; thus, we provide continuing education and licensure reimbursement, along with generous paid time off and flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle. Join us in an environment that fosters teamwork and paves avenues for clinical advancement. In this position, every day presents unique challenges and meaningful connections. You'll serve as a dependable mentor during the crucial recovery phases, guiding patients as they reclaim their balance after surgery or supporting them in their hard-earned journey following a stroke. This role demands conscientiousness and active engagement, yet offers immeasurable rewards. You will witness firsthand the immediate impact of your work as the care you provide transforms lives. We are seeking a DPT / Doctor of Physical Therapy who embodies more than just a resume. You are someone who recognizes that movement is essential, that empathy holds great power, and that advancement appears in myriad forms — from standing up to taking steps once more. Join us in Miami — a vibrant city and an energetic workplace — where your expertise meets purpose and your presence instills hope. We are dedicated to supporting you in furthering your career, enhancing your skills, and rediscovering the joy that comes from meaningful work. Be a part of our team and immerse yourself in a city that brings energy to your everyday life.
