Job description

DPT / Doctor Of Physical Therapy

Imagine a role where each day unfolds with the promise of making a tangible difference in someone's life. As a Physical Therapist, you'll hold the remarkable power to help those recovering from surgery find their rhythm once more, assist stroke survivors in reclaiming their independence, or guide individuals in regaining their voices following illness. Your ability to facilitate healing goes beyond merely addressing physical injuries; it transforms lives during some of the most vulnerable moments. And in Nashville, Tennessee, you'll do this incredible work in an environment that harmoniously blends professional growth with an electrifying lifestyle.

We invite you to bring your passion and expertise to our team in Nashville—a vibrant, culturally rich city known for its warm hospitality and a thriving community that not only recognizes but celebrates the art of healing. This is your opportunity to profoundly impact individuals while embracing a lifestyle that nourishes your spirit. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.

Implement physical therapy interventions concentrated on enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring functional capabilities.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to optimize patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, post-discharge strategies, and appropriate home exercise regimens.

Keep meticulous documentation of assessments, therapies provided, and progress, adhering to facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Engage in interdisciplinary care rounds and conferences to foster seamless coordination among care providers.

Your academic journey should feature a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a closely related accredited credential. We seek individuals with a state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, while CPR certification is preferred. Specialized qualifications, such as those in neurology or geriatrics, could give you an additional edge, but are not mandatory. A track record of previous experience is highly desirable, paired with the capability to address patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential. You should be adept at utilizing digital tools for clinical documentation and charting, ensuring a smooth workflow in a fast-paced setting.

In return for your contributions, you can anticipate:

A competitive salary and compensation structure.

A thorough benefits package that encompasses health, dental, and vision coverage along with generous paid time off and flexible work schedules.

Opportunities for continuing education and financial support for licensure renewal.

A nurturing team environment that encourages professional development and career advancement.

Every day in this role presents new challenges that are rewarding in equal measure. From guiding patients in their initial recovery stages to working with them as they triumphantly regain their balance post-surgery and celebrate their victories over strokes, your duties are as impactful as they are varied. The work you do will not only require technical skill; it will demand empathy and presence. You'll assess each patient's unique requirements, execute targeted treatment strategies, and adjust plans in real-time to match evolving circumstances. As a vital member of a collaborative healthcare team, you will play an essential role in discharge planning and ensuring safe, supportive transitions back to home.

In essence, you aren't just filling a position; you're answering a call. You possess an intrinsic understanding that movement is akin to medicine, that each gesture of compassion holds immense power, and that progress is measured in myriad forms—from the act of standing to the ultimate goal of walking again. If you are a dedicated Physical Therapist with emotional intelligence and the zeal to flourish within a dynamic, fast-paced multidisciplinary environment, we want to hear from you! Whether you're just embarking on your career or bring a wealth of experience, we're eager to connect with professionals who prioritize evidence-based practices, teamwork, and human connection.

Become part of something meaningful, where your expertise leads you forward as you inspire others to move ahead. In Nashville, you'll discover not just a job but a transformative journey alongside a dynamic team in a city that resonates with energy and creativity. Join us in making a significant difference while reigniting your passion for impactful work—because our focus is on your career growth, skill enhancement, and the joy that comes from a life well-lived and work that truly matters. We are excited to welcome you as you step forward into this pivotal role and make lives better while you grow, too!
