Doctor Of Physical Therapy

Santa Ana, CA $90,570 - $115,460 a year

Full Time

Job Description

What if your daily efforts had the ability to assist someone in taking their first step after surgery, reclaiming independence following a stroke, or regaining their voice after illness? As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, your role transcends mere support for healing; you'll be a beacon of dignity, momentum, and hope during some of life's most delicate transitions. Picture yourself in a location that reshapes what it means to live, work, and rejuvenate. We are in search of a devoted and skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy to bring their expertise to our vibrant team in Santa Ana, California — a city that beautifully merges professional satisfaction with an alluring lifestyle. This dynamic region not only fosters clinical excellence but also nurtures a community that embraces and inspires those who serve. If you're eager to create impactful changes that resonate deeply, this is your opportunity.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, you will:

Assess patients across inpatient and outpatient settings to develop tailored treatment regimens

Implement physical therapy techniques concentrated on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Work cohesively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes

Guide patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and effective home exercises

Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in alignment with facility and regulatory requirements

Engage in multidisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless coordination of care

To qualify, you should possess:

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent advanced degree from an accredited institution

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist

Preferably hold CPR certification and any specialized qualifications (such as neurological or geriatric) would be advantageous but are not mandatory

In addition to medical expertise, we value:

Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred

Competence in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with electronic charting and clinical documentation systems

In exchange for your dedication, we provide:

An attractive compensation package

A full benefits suite that encompasses health, dental, and vision insurance

Opportunities for continuing education and professional development funding

Generous paid time off and adaptable scheduling

A supportive team environment with paths for career advancement

Your days will be filled with variety and substance, serving as a trusted navigator through the initial phases of recovery. Whether you are aiding someone in regaining their balance after surgery or coaching an individual through the challenges of post-stroke rehabilitation, every interaction will be significant. Your role involves hands-on, high-touch patient care where clinical acumen intertwines with heartfelt compassion. You will evaluate patient requirements, deploy precise treatment strategies, and adjust care plans according to each patient's journey. As part of a collaborative team, your input will be vital in guiding patients towards discharge and easing their transition back home.

This position calls for precision, engagement, and offers immeasurable rewards. In this environment, your impact will be immediate, and the care you provide will be transformative. We are looking for a Physical Therapist whose qualifications extend beyond clinical competencies. We seek someone keenly aware that movement serves as medicine, that kindness holds considerable power, and that progress emerges in various forms — from standing up to walking once more.

If you are equipped with invaluable clinical expertise, emotional acuity, and possess the agility to flourish in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary landscape, we are excited to connect with you. If you are a proponent of evidence-based care, a believer in teamwork, and understand the humanness of healing, we invite you to apply. Join us in the mission to help others regain their mobility while you propel your own career forward. This isn't merely a position; it's a calling — an opportunity where your insights converge with purpose and your presence yields significant change.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Santa Ana, California, you will be immersed in a community of passionate healthcare professionals within a lively work culture, all while basking in the invigorating spirit of a city that enhances your everyday life. We are eager to assist you in nurturing your career, broadening your skill set, and reigniting your passion for a vocation that truly matters. Become part of a team — and a community — that is dedicated to your journey.
