Doctor Of Physical Therapy Opportunity In Tampa, Florida

Imagine a workplace where every day gives you the opportunity to help individuals take their first steps after a pivotal surgery or celebrate regaining their independence after a life-altering stroke. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, your role extends beyond mere rehabilitation — you'll have the power to reinstate dignity and spark hope during some of life's most vulnerable moments. And, you'll get to do all this in a setting that absolutely redefines the essence of living and working. We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our dynamic team in the sunny paradise of Tampa, Florida — a bustling city that perfectly balances professional satisfaction with a lifestyle brimming with excitement and leisure. Here, high standards of clinical care meet a supportive community that truly inspires growth and passion. If you are ready to create a lasting impact on patients' lives, this is your chance! As a vital component of our health care team, you will:

- Assess patients both in inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.

- Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality.

- Work in collaboration with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and essential exercises to undertake at home.

- Meticulously document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress in line with facility regulations and guidelines.

- Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless care delivery.

For this role, we require:

- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution.

And while we value diverse experiences, having these credentials would certainly give you an edge:

- Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

- CPR certification is preferred.

- Specialized certifications (in areas like neurology or geriatrics) are welcome but not mandatory.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

- Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly favored.

- The ability to treat patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges.

- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

In return, we offer:

- A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.

- Opportunities for continuing education and reimbursement for licensure expenses.

- Paid time off along with flexible scheduling options.

- A nurturing team culture that fosters clinical advancement.

What does your day-to-day look like? Each day brings unique challenges and precious moments of connection. You'll be at the forefront, guiding patients through their early recovery journeys — whether it's assisting someone in reclaiming their balance post-surgery or supporting another who has earnestly taken those first steps after a stroke. This is an engaging, hands-on role where your clinical expertise marries with heartfelt compassion. You'll be responsible for comprehensive assessments, the execution of targeted treatment plans, and the continuous evolution of care strategies as patients progress. As a valued member of an interdisciplinary care team, your involvement in discharge planning and facilitation of seamless transitions from hospital to home will be critical. This role is not only about professional skill — it's infused with the power to transform lives daily. Your immediate impact on patient care is profound, and it's an honor to be part of their healing journey.

We are looking for more than just a resume. We're searching for an empathetic and knowledgeable professional who recognizes that movement translates to healing, that kindness is a force for good, and that every small win matters — from the very first stand to walking across a room. Join our community as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Tampa, where you'll work alongside passionate clinicians within a vibrant culture that celebrates your abilities and urges you to embrace your purpose. Here, your career can flourish, your skills can expand, and you can rediscover the deep satisfaction of doing work that resonates with significance. Become part of a team and a community that moves together, toward both healing and personal growth.
