Empower Recovery in the Heart of South Texas: Join Our Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy Team

Have you ever considered how your professional journey could impact someone's life in profound ways? As a dedicated Physical Therapist, your commitment could help individuals reclaim their independence following surgery, regain their strength after a stroke, or rediscover their voice after illness. In this role, you will not only support the healing process but also help to restore dignity, hope, and resilience during some of life's most challenging moments.

We are actively seeking an empathetic and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Laredo, Texas. This dynamic and culturally rich locale perfectly combines professional opportunities with a lifestyle that offers warmth and charm. If you're ready to make a significant impact on the lives of those around you, then now is the time to step forward.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens

Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with institutional and regulatory standards

Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated and effective care

Qualifications:

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Licenses and Certifications:

State licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification is preferred

Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are considered a plus but are not mandatory

Required Skills:

Prior physical therapy experience is highly preferred

Ability to manage patients with complex medical backgrounds and mobility challenges

Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities

Eagerness to work with digital documentation and clinical record-keeping

Perks of Joining Us:

Attractive compensation package

Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans

Opportunities for continuing education and reimbursement for licensure

Generous paid time off coupled with flexible work scheduling

A supportive team culture that encourages clinical growth and advancement

Your Daily Impact:

Every day brings new challenges, and each patient interaction is filled with purpose. You will be a reliable guide during the initial steps of recovery, whether aiding a patient in regaining their balance post-surgery or supporting someone through the challenging process of post-stroke rehabilitation.

Your role involves hands-on care, where clinical expertise intertwines with compassion. You will evaluate needs, develop focused treatment strategies, and modify care plans as your patients progress. Working alongside a collaborative healthcare team, you'll play a crucial part in their discharge planning and ensure safe transitions into their home environment.

The work you do requires not just expertise but presence—a fulfilling blend that ensures your every effort is meaningful and life-changing.

Discover the Beauty of Laredo:

Though your role may predominantly be within healthcare facilities, the broader scope of life in Laredo, Texas is full of opportunity. This vibrant city is known for its unique cultural blend and amiable atmosphere, marked by the winding banks of the Rio Grande and the region's unmistakable architectural stylings.

Here, you'll find locals engaged in numerous outdoor activities, from lively strolls through historic downtown areas to enjoying delicious culinary delights at nearby eateries. With a rich tapestry of culture and creativity, weekends could be spent exploring arts festivals, visiting local markets, or savoring spicy Tex-Mex cuisine under the warm Texas sun. Laredo is a region that embraces innovation, community spirit, and growth—even more appealing is the absence of state income tax and the availability of excellent educational institutions.

In this beautiful city where people cherish both heritage and progress, healthcare professionals can not only grow their careers but also find a deep sense of belonging.

Your Future Awaits:

More than a mere job, this position is a vocation—one that blends knowledge and purpose with the art of healing. In Laredo, Texas, you'll immerse yourself in a supportive community, work alongside passionate healthcare providers, and embrace a lifestyle that invigorates you.

If you're ready to advance your career, develop professionally, and discover the joy of doing truly meaningful work, come join us. We're here to welcome you into a team and a community that empowers each other to grow and thrive together.
