Job description

Physical Therapist

Garland, TX $88,900 - $107,800 a year

Imagine a place where your daily endeavors can help someone claim their independence once more, whether it's after a surgical procedure, a life-altering stroke, or a long bout with illness. As a Physical Therapist, you'll be doing more than just treating ailments; you'll be reigniting hope, restoring dignity, and empowering individuals during some of their most vulnerable times. And you'll find this opportunity in Garland, Texas, a vibrant city known for its community spirit and revitalizing professional prospects. Here in Garland, we are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Physical Therapist to become a vital member of our healthcare team. In this dynamic locale, you'll discover a blend of clinical excellence and a supportive environment that embraces both personal and professional growth. If you're ready to make a significant impact and engage in rewarding work, the time to apply is now.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs, and administering physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to promote optimal patient outcomes while providing education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals and home exercises. Meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatment efforts, and progress will ensure compliance with facility standards and regulatory guidelines.

To qualify for this role, you must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. State licensure as a Physical Therapist is essential, and while CPR certification is preferred, specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric therapy are advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with hands-on experience, advanced communication abilities, and the expertise to manage patients with complex medical conditions will excel in this role.

In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage, opportunities for continuing education and licensure reimbursement, plus generous paid time off and flexible working hours. You'll also join a team-oriented environment that fosters a culture of support and the potential for clinical advancement. Your journey each day will be filled with new challenges and impactful moments. Whether you are assisting a patient regaining their footing post-surgery or guiding someone through the arduous journey of rehabilitation, your compassionate touch will change lives. As a proactive member of the care team, you will play a key role in discharge planning and ensuring smooth transitions to patients' homes.

Garland, Texas, is not only known for its healthcare opportunities but boasts a lifestyle brimming with possibilities. From tranquil parks and recreational areas to a thriving cultural scene, this city is where nature and urban life harmoniously coexist. Locals indulge in a great variety of cuisines, art, and community festivals, showcasing the warm charm of Texas hospitality. On weekends, you can immerse yourself in the great outdoors, whether exploring scenic parks or discovering local artisan markets. With a reasonable cost of living and access to quality education, you'll enjoy a fulfilling personal life alongside your professional one. Garland serves as the perfect backdrop for healthcare professionals eager to build meaningful careers while having ample opportunities to unwind and connect with nature or the vibrant local community.

We seek professionals who are not defined solely by their resumes. If you believe in the healing power of movement, embrace a generous spirit, and understand the nuances of patient care, we want to hear from you. Whether you are newer to the field or an experienced clinician ready for your next adventure, your commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and genuine human connection is what we value most. Join us in this vocation that provides both purpose and fulfillment. As a Physical Therapist in Garland, Texas, you will not only help patients reclaim their mobility but also discover a rewarding career path surrounded by enthusiastic colleagues and an inspiring work environment. Let us assist you in advancing your career while you help others move forward in their lives. If you're ready to contribute to a healthcare team that is passionate, dedicated, and driven by results, we encourage you to step into this lifelong journey with us.
