Job description

DPT - Inpatient / Outpatient Physical Therapist

Imagine being the catalyst for a patient's first step after surgery, or the guiding hand that helps someone regain their independence following a stroke. As a Physical Therapist, you won't just foster recovery—you'll restore dignity, momentum, and hope during life's most challenging moments in a nurturing environment that allows for both professional growth and personal enjoyment. We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to become part of our dedicated team in Baltimore, Maryland—a lively, historic city that beautifully blends career aspirations with a lifestyle you will cherish. In this region, clinical excellence thrives within a supportive community, and if you're eager to make a profound difference, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Evaluate patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery. Collaborate with nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on therapeutic objectives, discharge considerations, and home exercise programs. Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress per facility and regulatory requirements. Participate in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated patient care.

Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification preferred. Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills

Prior experience strongly preferred. Proficient in managing patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. Strong communication and collaborative skills. Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

Benefits

Competitive salary and compensation package. Comprehensive health benefits covering dental and vision. Support for continuing education and licensure expenses. Flexible scheduling and paid time off. A nurturing team culture with avenues for clinical advancement.

Every day brings new challenges, and every interaction carries significance. As a trusted partner in the recovery journey, you'll support patients in reclaiming their balance post-surgery or guiding them through the arduous process of healing after a stroke. In this role, your clinical acumen will blend seamlessly with your heartfelt care. You'll evaluate patient needs, implement tailored treatment strategies, and adjust plans as your patients progress. As a vital piece of a collaborative care team, your contributions will also be essential in discharge planning and supporting safe transitions back home, ensuring every individual thrives. This role requires not only precision and expertise but also the presence that fosters recovery. Here, your impact is immediate, and the change you inspire serves as a beacon of hope.

While your professional life may revolve around clinical settings, your personal journey here will venture into the vibrant heart of Baltimore. This city brims with creativity, culture, and culinary delights, offering picturesque views at every turn, from the bustling Inner Harbor to the serene parks dotted throughout. Locals dive headfirst into life, whether wandering the scenic waterfront, exploring historic neighborhoods, or satisfying their palates at renowned seafood joints. Here, you'll discover a non-stop calendar of events, a rich musical backdrop, and an energetic arts scene that invigorates every day. In addition to its cultural allure, Baltimore provides practical benefits: a reasonable cost of living, diverse schooling options, and a welcoming community where your career can flourish alongside your personal growth. Embrace the city's charm, and you'll find bountiful opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, enrich your life, and embrace uncharted adventures. From the urban buzz to the peaceful escapes just outside the city, here healthcare professionals find a true sense of belonging and endless opportunities to evolve.

You're more than a resume. You comprehend that movement is therapeutic, that empathy can drive transformation, and that growth is found in every step—from sitting up to standing tall again. We're in search of a Physical Therapist who embodies clinical expertise, emotional savvy, and a readiness to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or a seasoned expert, if you believe in the power of evidence-based practice, teamwork, and building genuine connections, we are excited to hear from you.

This isn't merely a job—it's a calling where your skills meet your purpose and your presence translates into profound changes for others. As a Physical Therapist in Baltimore, you'll join a community of passionate clinicians, experience a dynamic workplace atmosphere, and immerse yourself in a city that energizes every facet of your life. We are committed to assisting you in growing your career, expanding your skills, and rekindling the joy of being part of work that genuinely matters. Come join a team that inspires you and a city that embraces you.
