Transform Lives in the Heart of Sunny Chula Vista: Join Our Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy Team

Imagine the profound impact your daily work can have — helping someone reclaim their first steps after surgery, regain their independence following a stroke, or rediscover their voice after illness. As a trusted Physical Therapist, you won't merely facilitate healing; you'll reinstate dignity, momentum, and hope during some of life's most delicate transitions. And you will do this in a vibrant community that exemplifies what it means to truly live and thrive.

We're seeking a dedicated and empathetic Physical Therapist to become part of our team in the stunning environment of Chula Vista, California, a city where professional satisfaction gracefully blends with a lifestyle that invigorates the soul. Here, clinical excellence is matched by a warm community that inspires and uplifts. If you're ready to make a substantial difference in people's lives, this is your opportunity to shine.

Description

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans.

Administer interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional enhancement.

Engage in collaborative efforts with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise programs.

Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress meticulously in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure synchronized care efforts.

Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a relevant equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Certifications

State license as a Physical Therapist.

CPR certification is preferred.

Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not obligatory.

Skills

Prior experience is strongly preferred.

Able to treat patients with complex medical and mobility challenges.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.

Proficient in digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

Benefits

Competitive salary and compensation package.

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.

Continuing education opportunities and licensure reimbursement.

Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling options.

A supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development.

Each day presents its own set of challenges and rewards. You'll be a beacon of support in the early stages of recovery, whether aiding a patient in regaining balance post-surgery or guiding someone through the arduous journey of post-stroke rehabilitation.

Your work is hands-on, where clinical expertise intersects with compassion. You'll assess individual needs, implement precisely tailored treatment strategies, and modify care protocols as each patient progresses. As an essential member of a collaborative care team, you'll also play a vital role in discharge planning and ensuring smooth transitions home.

This role necessitates both precision and presence — yet the rewards are immeasurable. Here, your contributions will spark immediate changes and lead to transformative outcomes.

Discover the Allure of Chula Vista

While your professional engagements might happen within the walls of a facility, the life you lead here in Chula Vista expands far beyond. This picturesque city is where the sun-kissed coastline meets breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay, complemented by an invigorating lifestyle flourished with outdoor adventures and rich cultural experiences.

Enjoy weekends exploring the serene trails of the Sweetwater Marsh or soaking in the sun at the expansive beaches. The city also boasts a vibrant culinary scene, featuring delightful eateries that offer everything from fresh seafood to authentic fine dining. Chula Vista is known for its cultural diversity, artistic charm, and strong sense of community, making it a haven for both relaxation and inspiration.

Not only does Chula Vista offer a delightful lifestyle, but it also comes with practical benefits: the absence of state income tax, access to top-rated educational institutions, and an overall affordable cost of living. Whether you're drawn to thrilling water sports or quiet beach retreats, you will find your niche here.

Your Ideal Match

Beyond your qualifications, you are an individual who appreciates the power of movement as medicine, the impact of compassion, and the profound differences small steps can make — whether that's allowing a patient to stand tall or walk with confidence once more.

We are on the lookout for a Physical Therapist with exceptional clinical skills, emotional acuity, and the ability to flourish in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting. Whether you are in the early stages of your career or you bring a wealth of knowledge, if you embrace evidence-based care, collaboration, and genuine human connection, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
