Description
Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment protocols.
Implement therapeutic interventions focused on mobility, strength enhancement, balance restoration, and overall function improvement.
Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes.
Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimens.
Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress adhering to facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Engage in team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure synchronized care delivery.
Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Certifications
State license as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification desired
Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
Previous experience is highly esteemed.
