Job description

Physical Therapist

Plano, TX $90,470 - $115,540 a year

Imagine a daily routine where your efforts lead individuals to take their first steps post-surgery, regain autonomy following a stroke, or even reclaim their voices after an illness. As a Physical Therapist, you are not merely aiding recovery — you are restoring dignity, momentum, and hope during some of life's most fragile moments. This fulfilling journey takes place in a setting that transforms the conventional understanding of work, leisure, and self-care. We invite you to join our compassionate and talented team as a Physical Therapist in Plano, Texas — a thriving community where professional satisfaction harmonizes with a lifestyle you will come to adore. In this inviting atmosphere, clinical excellence flourishes alongside a community that embraces and motivates. If you're eager to create a profound impact, from the heart, this opportunity is calling your name.

Your role will involve evaluating patients in either an inpatient or outpatient context, crafting personalized treatment strategies to facilitate their healing journeys. You will administer crucial physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functionality. Collaboration is key; you will work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehab experts to maximize patient outcomes while offering education to both patients and families concerning therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercises. All evaluations, treatments, and progress will be meticulously documented, in line with facility standards and regulatory requirements, while your active participation in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions will ensure the delivery of coordinated care.

To qualify, you should possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. State licensure as a Physical Therapist is essential, with CPR certification preferred and any specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric being advantageous. Experience in the field is highly favored, as well as the capability to treat patients facing intricate medical and mobility challenges. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital, along with a comfort level in using digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

We offer an exceptional compensation package, accompanied by comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance. To foster your career growth, we provide continuing education opportunities and licensure reimbursement. Other perks include paid time off, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment with numerous opportunities for professional development.

In this dynamic role, each day brings something new, and every engagement is meaningful. You will serve as a trusted partner during the initial phases of a patient's recovery, whether that means helping to restore their balance after surgery or guiding them through the arduous yet rewarding steps of rehabilitation after a stroke. This is a hands-on vocation where profound clinical expertise meets compassion. You will assess patient needs, implement focused treatment plans, and modify care strategies as recovery unfolds. Integral to discharge planning and ensuring a smooth transition home, you will be an indispensable part of a dedicated care team. The job requires precision, presence, and offers immeasurable rewards, knowing that your interventions lead to immediate impacts and transformative changes in your patients' lives.

We're in search of an individual who is more than just a collection of qualifications. You recognize that movement serves as medicine, that kindness holds great power, and that progress comes in various forms — from standing up to taking those first joyous steps. We seek a Physical Therapist possessing exemplary clinical abilities, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary atmosphere. Whether you are just embarking on your career or come with a depth of experience, if you prize evidence-based care, teamwork, and genuine human connections, we are excited to connect with you.

Join Us on This Meaningful Journey This position transcends mere employment — it embodies a calling, where your expertise aligns with purpose and your involvement generates real change. As a Physical Therapist in the vibrant city of Plano, Texas, you will be in good company with devoted clinicians, a lively work environment, and a city that invigorates your daily life. We are eager to assist you in expanding your career, broadening your skill set, and rediscovering the joy that arises from meaningful work. Become part of a team and a community that will truly inspire you!
