Job Description

Imagine a world where your daily efforts help others reclaim their independence one step at a time. As a dedicated Physical Therapist, you have the unique opportunity to influence lives profoundly, whether it's guiding someone after surgery, aiding recovery following a stroke, or restoring a powerful voice after health challenges. It is in locations resembling the vibrant city of San Jose, California where you can weave your passion for healing into a fulfilling career, living and working in an environment that encourages regeneration and rejuvenation. We invite you to become part of a skilled team of Physical Therapists in the heart of San Jose, where personal fulfillment intertwines with a lifestyle that radiates innovation and inspiration. This dynamic community celebrates clinical excellence while surrounding you with a supportive network eager for collaboration and compassion. If you're poised to make a transformative impact, seize this opportunity where your expertise will truly shine. As you step into this role, your days will be an exciting blend of assessing patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while tailoring customized treatment plans that promote mobility, strength, and overall function. You will engage actively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure the most efficient pathways to recovery for your patients. Family education will be a vital part of your responsibilities, enlightening them on therapeutic goals and home exercise routines, while thorough documentation of evaluations and treatments will be pivotal to aligning with facility standards.

Your qualifications should include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar accredited degree alongside state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification is preferred and specialized credentials related to neurology or geriatrics would certainly elevate your value in our team. Previous experience in the field is strongly desired, showcasing your adeptness in addressing complex medical issues and enhancing mobility skills among those you serve. The benefits of this position extend beyond professional growth; a competitive compensation package awaits alongside comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. You will also receive provisions for continuing education and licensure renewals, generous paid time off, and flexibility in scheduling, all while integrating into a culture that promotes teamwork and clinical advancement.

In your new role, not a single day will feel routine. You will become an essential compass, guiding patients through their initial recovery phases — from helping restore balance after surgery to motivating them in their grueling journey post-stroke. It is here where hands-on care meets heartfelt compassion, as you will continuously adjust treatment strategies tailored to the evolving needs of your patients. Your impact within our community is immediate, making lives better through your dedication. You embody the understanding that movement is essential, that kindness carries immense weight, and that progress manifests in myriad forms, whether it's the first step or the return to walking. We seek an individual who respects the essence of human connection, with emotional intelligence, clinical proficiency, and the capacity to flourish in a fast-paced multidisciplinary setting. No matter where you are on your career journey — from novice to seasoned professional — if you appreciate evidence-based practices, collegial collaboration, and the power of personal relationships, we are excited to meet you. This is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Physical Therapist in San Jose, California, you will immerse yourself among passionate clinicians and a vibrant work culture, thriving amidst a city that stimulates your everyday life. Embrace the opportunity to deepen your skills, elevate your career, and rediscover the joy in meaningful work. Join us and be part of a team and community that will drive you forward with purpose and passion.
