Description

Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts and create tailored treatment strategies

Implement physical therapy techniques with a focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes

Inform patients and caregivers about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercises

Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress to adhere to facility standards and regulatory requirements

Engage in multidisciplinary care team meetings and collaboration sessions to ensure effective patient care

Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from a recognized program

Certifications

Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification is preferred

Specialty certifications (e.g., geriatric, neurological) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

Previous experience is highly desired
