Job Description:
Our Drain & Plumbing Technicians are an integral part of our business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your plumbing skills while actively engaging with customers to identify repair and replacement opportunities. Responsibilities:
Drain Diagnosis and Basic Repairs: Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and resolving common drain-related issues in residential and commercial settings. Learn and perform basic repairs and installations.
Engage with customers: Assess their plumbing needs and provide information about available services. Collaborate with experienced technicians and service team members to identify potential repair and replacementopportunities and provide permanent solutions to plumbing problems. Actively listen to customer needs, gather information, and assist with scheduling and coordinating service appointments.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, services provided, and work completed. Assist in generating reports on daily activities, customer feedback, and job progress to support business growth strategies.
Continuous Learning: Take part in training programs and on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance your plumbing knowledge and skills. Stay updated on plumbing industry trends, technologies, and products.
Requirements:
Basic Plumbing Knowledge: Familiarity with basic plumbing principles can be taught but is preferred to have basics down already. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Aptitude for Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers. Eagerness to communicationtechniques and assist in promoting plumbing services in conjunction with a supervisor.
Customer Service Focus: Friendly and customer-oriented approach with a desire to provide exceptional service. Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
Time Management and Organization: Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments.
Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required for travel to customer locations.
Paid training at $20/hr. Possible for commissions and bonuses after training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
