Driver / Shipping & Receiving ClerkWe're looking for a Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the safe and efficient movement of materials, products, and employees throughout our facility. This role combines shipping and receiving responsibilities with shuttle driving duties, helping ensure materials are delivered accurately, inventory is maintained, and employees are transported safely to and from designated parking areas.At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 4:00p-12:00aShift Differential: $2.00What You'll Be DoingTransport employees safely between designated parking areas and the facility at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.Route incoming materials and products to the appropriate departments.Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records using scanning and computer systems.Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials.Support the handling, movement, and shipment of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure efficient material flow.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, transportation, or related experience.Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic computer skills, including data entry and barcode scanning systems.Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately verify counts and quantities.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.Nice to HavePrevious experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.Forklift certification or ability to become certified.Experience with shipping and receiving software or inventory management systems.Experience handling hazardous materials or familiarity with DOT and RCRA requirements.Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, warehouse, or distribution environment.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsRegular standing, walking, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.Frequent lifting and movement of materials and packages.Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and industrial materials.Ability to safely operate company vehicles used for employee transportation.This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
