Right At Home Caregiver OpportunityRight at Home of Essex County is seeking a compassionate, experienced live-in caregiver who drives and has their own reliable, insured vehicle for an immediate opening. Help a client remain comfortable at home while providing personal care, companionship, and transportation to appointments and errands.Applicants must be available for a live-in assignment and able to use their own vehicle to transport the client. Please include your earliest available start date when applying.Why Caregivers Like Working With UsPay increases available through our Personal Advancement ProgramReferral bonusesAflac insurance opportunitiesCaregiver Recognition & Rewards ProgramNamed Employer of Choice by Home Care PulseResponsibilitiesAssist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.Provide assistance with walking and transfers.Prepare meals and snacks according to the client's care plan.Provide medication reminders.Offer companionship and supportive engagement, including dementia care as needed.Drive the client to medical appointments, errands, and other outings using your own vehicle.Complete light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and linen changes.Follow the nurse-developed care plan, including assistance with prescribed exercises and special diets.Communicate changes in the client's condition or needs to the office.QualificationsAvailability for a live-in assignment with an immediate start.Valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting the client.Three years of caregiver or home health aide experience in a home or facility setting.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the role.A dependable, patient, and compassionate approach to care.High school diploma or GED preferred.Ready to start?
