Drumming & Blending Chemical OperatorSole Hire is recruiting on behalf of an F&F client based in Middle River, MD. Our client is an established chemical and ingredient distribution company. They're looking for a dependable, safety-minded Drumming & Blending Chemical Operator to join their production team.About the Role:You'll be part of a hands-on production team that runs the machinery used to mix and process chemicals. That includes cleaning, preparing and monitoring equipment, following strict blend sheets, recording process details, troubleshooting equipment issues and helping improve processes.What You'll Do:Package and transfer chemicals safely into containers of various sizesFollow strict blend sheets to mix chemicals for drummingProcess chemicals on equipment such as reactors and distillation systemsLoad and unload bulk tank trailersOperate forklifts and other material-moving equipmentComplete packing sheets, checklists and other paperworkWear the right protective equipment and follow all safety policiesHandle housekeeping, janitorial and general labor tasks as directedWhat They're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)Forklift certification (preferred)An understanding of chemical processesBasic computer skills and good verbal and written communicationA team player who does well in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentCommitment to safety and quality standards, including wearing protective gearWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Warehouse and outdoor workLong periods of walking, standing or sitting, plus climbing, crouching and operating toolsMust be able to lift 50 lbs or moreBenefits:401(k) planHealth, dental and vision insuranceHSA and FSA (health care and dependent care)Short- and long-term disability, plus hospital indemnityLife insurance and AD&DCompany-paid parental leavePet insurance, legal and identity theft protection, and a transit benefit8 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays, and paid time off (PTO)How to Apply:Apply today, or email for more information or to send your resume.
