This job description is sufficient for departmental functions such as: Protein Dryer and Bagger.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Running large machinery and maintenance.Packaging of protein powder in 50lb bags or large totes.Troubleshooting of machinery.Cleaning of floors, walls, tools, etc.Chemical safety, workplace safety and cGMP training and practices.CIP and sanitation of equipment.Routine inspections of all working parts.Move pallets using pallet jack or forklift as required.Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.Comply with GMPs in the plant.Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality System.Organizational Relationships:Position reports to the Production Supervisor in the Protein Department.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Minimum 1 year work experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Must be a team player and the ability to work independently.Attention to detail.Flexibility in the schedule is required regarding different shifts, days, weekends and holidays.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
