Drywall FinishersTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Drywall Finishers for projects located in or around State College, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $22-$26/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Drywall Finisher and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Measurement & Layout; measuring framing, planning layouts, and minimizing seamsSheet Cutting; Scoring, snapping, and rasping boards for clean edge jointsFastener installation; driving screws to proper depth without puncturing paper facesCutout Accuracy; trimming panels precisely around electrical boxes, vents, and plumbingPanel manipulation; operating panel lifts, jacks, and moving sheets up to 12 feet longFraming Inspection; Checking wood and metal studs for straightness before hangingCompound preparation; selecting and mixing all-purpose, lightweight, and quick-setting mudTape embedding: pressing paper and mesh tape tightly into joints to prevent air bubblesEdge feathering; spreading successive mud coats smoothly to conceal seams and fastenersPrecision sanding; operating pole sanders and hand blocks to eliminate ridges without gougingCorner bead installation; applying and finishing metal, vinyl, and paper-faced corner trimsLevel 1–5 Finishing; executing all drywall finishes from basic fire-taping to full skim coatsTexture Application; spraying and hand-applying orange peel, knockdown, and skip-trowel finishesTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe Safe from fraud!
